Lacos LIMITED WARRANTY TERMS
The 2-year warranty is applicable to all e-bikes purchased from our official website, Amazon, Temu and other official channels.
Lacros strongly recommends that all customers arrange for a certified bike technician to conduct a comprehensive inspection and test of each component of the bike before the first ride, which will help ensure safe cycling.
Warranty Target Audience
The warranty service is registered automatically when the initial customer places the order and then receives the ebikes from us and only applies to the initial customer.
The transferee of ebikes can achieve warranty transfer service only when the following two conditions are met:
1. The 2-year warranty service is still within the period since the initial customer received it;
2. The transferee has the initial customer’s shopping information-name and order number.
Details:
All Lacros bikes offer a 2-year warranty from the date of receipt of the bike for manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship (All free accessories are not covered).
Lacros will replace any component that is defective or damaged in materials and/or workmanship (including the damage in the processing of shipment).
Lacros shall be in the sole discretion to determine whether damage or defect of an electric bike or covered component is under this limited warranty.
The warranty covers the listed products and follows the terms below:
Frame
Lacros Ebike frames are under warranty for a period of two years from the date of the original retail purchase. The defective frame can be replaced with a new one which is under the limited warranty but labor charges for frame replacement are not covered.
Lacros reserves the right to use scratch and dent stock when replacing a frame under this warranty. The defective frame can be replaced with the same or the most nearly comparable one at the discretion of Lacros.
Frame issues that are not covered under this warranty include but are not limited to:
Corrosion;
Paint fade, scratches, impact marks;
Impact damage;
Non-reversible modification (drilling/welding);
Chainguard mounts to the frame if applicable;
Batteries
Lacros batteries are covered by a 2-year limited warranty.
During 2 years of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original purchase date.
No cash reimbursement will be made.
The defective battery will be assessed at the sole discretion of Lacros.
This limited warranty does not cover:
1. Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use ( including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
2. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by Lacros;
3. The product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
4. Ordinary wear and tear;
5. Defects or damage to the products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Lacroswith the products;
6. Defects or damage caused by the assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from Assembly Instructions & Owners Manual;
7. Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source;
8. Products used or purchased out of the United States;
9. In addition, with respect to the battery, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage:
9.1 Caused by charging by a battery charger not intended or appropriate for use with the battery or the improper use of a battery charger;
9.2 Any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering;
9.3 The battery used in other equipment ( not the bike);
Parts & Components
Original Lacros parts & components are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. Any damaged parts caused by people are not covered. The ebike's owner will be responsible for the shipping costs of the spare parts for warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover:
1. Parts compromised by corrosion due to exposure to the elements (moisture, heat, etc.);
2. Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the product;
3. Labor charges for part replacement or changeover;
4. Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
5. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Lacros;
6. Products with the serial number or bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
7. Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Lacros for the Products;
8. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
9. Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
10. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear( not the result of defects in workmanship or materials) is not covered. Wear and tear will be assessed by Lacros. Parts not covered include but are not limited to:
10.1. Brake Pads
10.2. Rotors
10.3. Spokes
10.4. Tires/Tubes
10.5. Chains
10.6. Chain Rings
10.7. Cassette
10.8. Crankset
Warranty Claims:
If your e-bike, purchased from us, experiences issues during normal use within the warranty period, please reach out to our Customer Service team at customer@lacrosebike.com for assistance with product maintenance and care. When initiating a warranty request, please be prepared to provide proof of purchase as well as photos or videos demonstrating the product's damage or issues.
NOTICE: If a Covered Component needs to be replaced, we will send the replacement component and provide you with the proper steps.
Shipping Claims:
Sometimes there may be damage during transportation. If indeed, please contact our Customer Service team at customer@lacrosebike.com and attach photos or videos to illustrate the damage. Our customer service representatives will assist in coordinating replacements for the severely damaged or missing parts, as well as any other quality-related components. It's important that we only accept shipping damage return requests within 7 days of the date of receipt.
No free accessories are eligible for replacement or compensation in the event of transportation-related scratches.
